EES DONATIONS - GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Many parents struggle to provide their children with daily essentials and a holiday gift is simply not in the budget. Families are feeling the impact of job losses and financial insecurity. You can change that. This holiday season please consider donating to EES so that every EES student can receive a holiday gift!
The EES Board of Directors is proud to announce the establishment of The Robin Layton Advocacy and Engagement Legacy Fund in honor of her retirement from EES after 38 years of service. Robin continues to be a tireless advocate for state and local policies to increase teacher retention through fair and professional wages. Your donation will help ensure that the needs of our students, our families, and our teachers are strongly represented at a local, state, and national level and further the goal that all children have equal opportunity and access to high-quality early education.
Each year EES celebrates over 700 students that graduate from our preschool programs and transition to elementary school. Your donation will help provide all transitioning students with a “I’m Ready for K” backpack filled with school essentials like notepads, crayons and pencils.
The holidays are a difficult time for many EES families. Please join Deni Jacobs and her family to help brighten Thanksgiving day for EES families. This year, EES will be providing nonperishable food and direct financial assistance to assist EES families with their holiday celebrations or address other critical needs. Please know that 100% of your donation goes directly to EES families.
EES continues to provide in-person, quality child care to hundreds of students across the County, while supporting hundreds more with our new distance learning curriculum. Help us ensure our in-person students have a safe and healthy learning environment, and our distance learners have access to an equitable early learning experience.
A donation to early childhood education essentials will support all EES efforts to provide high quality early education and care to our students and any additional needed support to our families. This includes targeted community outreach, participation in special events such as Read Across America Day, restocking of books, art supplies and toys at each of our centers, and more!
Our daily meal program provides free and healthy meals and snacks to all 1,100 of our students. In addition to helping fund our daily meal program, your donation would help all our nutrition efforts, including outdoor gardens and family wellness efforts like our partnership with Feeding San Diego.
