EES operates part-day and full-day Preschools located in Chula Vista, Linda Vista, and the cities of Vista & Oceanside in the North County area of San Diego, for students 3-5 years of age. Each and every EES preschool empowers children to enter the classroom experience through hands-on play. Our programs nurture the whole child through an integrated curriculum and students are guided through developmentally appropriate learning experiences that emphasize school readiness.
The collaboration of home, school, and community increases the quality of the total program. Parent participation plays a large role in our programs because we recognize that the family has the most influence on a child's growth and ability to learn. We host regular events for parents and children to supplement our classroom curriculum. Our staff also has access to a variety of resources and support services available to parents.
FIRST 5 QUALITY PRESCHOOL INITIATIVE (QPI)
All EES Preschools participate in QPI and are rated in the top two highest tiers for quality early education. The Quality Preschool Initiative (QPI) is a local quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) funded by First 5 San Diego. QPI measures the quality of participating preschool programs based on 3 defined core categories of quality criteria: (1) child development and school readiness, (2) teaching and teachers, and (3) program and environment - administration and leadership. STUDENT ASSESSMENT: DRDP
